About Sable
Some dogs like company. Sable needs her people. She wants to be wherever you are: on the couch for cuddles, in the back seat for a drive, right in the middle of family life. If you're looking for a dog who'll be by your side every day, Sable is that dog.

The home that fits her
Sable does best with a calm, confident person who will stand up for her. She can get vocal when she meets strange dogs on the leash and feels nervous at the vet. With the right person beside her, she handles both well.
She has a strong prey drive, so other small animals need slow, careful introductions. She's also learning not to slip out of an open door, so a home that keeps doors closed suits her. And she'd like to be the only one getting couch snuggles.
